F.A.S.T. Project

"Fun After-School Telecommunications" Project

Testimonials

Wow!

What a wonderful program. Over three (3) years ago my son Clarence became a new person. Always a quiet and obedient son, Clarence was just a plain teenager, playing basketball and hanging out with his brother and sister.

Then he met Shaquonia and Bryan. He became a student of the F.A.S.T. project and a mentee under loving, caring, "family folks" the Hildreths. Though just a middle school student at the time, Norma Coombs Alternative School, he was invited and welcomed to learn the art of providing music of all types to a very wide variety audience after school.

Today my 16 year old son is a business entrepreneur. Clarence has enrolled in the Business and Finance Academy at John Muir High School and is selecting that he will attend to earn his Bachelors degree in Business and pursue his interest in the music industry.

What is so amazing to my husband and I, is that our son, can and has made up to $400.00 in a single weekend, at his age. And held his first teaching assistant job at the Jackie Robinson Center, teaching other young people to DJ and love the music they listen, too. Thanks to the F.A.S.T. Project.

Even more extraordinary, is his desire to volunteer his services for school, family, friends and the community; in the same kind and loving way, Bryan volunteers his time and talent to help, my son, Clarence.

Our family truly appreciates this project and looks forward to its growth and the opportunity that it offers the young people of this community.
